Nina B. Ward is a program associate for the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) for Policy, a multinational organization of science academies that provides high quality, in-depth advice to international organizations and national governments on critical scientific issues. Ward also serves as an associate program officer in the Policy and Global Affairs (PGA) Division at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. In addition to IAP for Policy, Ward works on PGA programs within the Development, Security, and Cooperation (DSC) unit. Previously, she has also supported other boards within PGA including the Board on Higher Education and Workforce and the Committee on Women in Science, Engineering, and Medicine. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Elon University and an M.P.P. from the University of Maryland School of Public Policy.
