Biography

Carlos Augusto Grabois Gadelha is Economist and PhD in Economics from the Institute of Economics of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Secretary of Science, Technology and Strategic Inputs of the Ministry of Health, Coordinator of the Research Group on Industrial Complex and Innovation in Health (GIS) and Coordinator-General of the Professional Master in Policy and Management of Science, Technology and Innovation in Health at Sergio Arouca National School of Public Health - Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (ENSP/Fiocruz). Recently, he coordinated the study "Industrial Economic Complex of Health" for the project "Investment Outlook in Brazil" (IE/UFRJ- IE / UNICAMP-BNDES) and the Project "Development and Health" (PAHO/WHO-MoH).
He served as Vice President of Production and Innovation in Health of Fiocruz from 2007 to 2010. He also served as the National Secretary of the Regional Development Program of the Ministry of National Integration from 2003 to 2006.
