- Physician, General and Acute Care Medicine, Western Australian Country Health Service (0.3 EFT)
Acute-care and ambulatory clinical medicine based in Broome with outreach to 17 communities across the Kimberley.  Specialist clinical services, hospital consultation and liaison, professional development for local primary care providers, education and training for registrars, residents and medical students. Clinical liaison with the Kimberley Public Health Unit for prevention and control programs, with statewide guideline development and implementation and antibiotic stewardship.
- Physician, General and Acute Care Medicine, Vanuatu, Australian Aid Programme 
Acute-care and ambulatory clinical medicine based in Vila Central Hospital and Northern Provincial Hospital. Acute specialist care, specialist clinics, outreach and education and training to clinical staff in Vanuatu for the Australian Aid Program on a rotating basis. Includes reporting for health service improvements and re-design.

As founding director of the start-up non-profit Global Ideas, Lloyd is working vigorously to create and connect the next generation of global health leaders. The annual Global Ideas Forum inspires and engages an interdisciplinary community, with Global Ideas Labs taking a deeper look at health in the sustainable development agenda and Global Ideas Design Jams a human centred design approach to tacking challenges in the global health context.

In this Honorary Fellowship as Clinical Lecturer Lloyd works as a “Clinical Skills Coach” and tutor in Ethical Practice for postgraduate medical students.  His teaching and mentoring is based on “Evidence Based Practice” which incorporates critical appraisal of literature and patient values into clinical decision-making.
 
  • Dr Lloyd Nash is a specialist General & Acute Care physician and global health practitioner who believes in building systems for better health (au.linkedin.com/in/thereslloyd). His clinical work is focused on indigenous health in the remote Kimberley and pacific island health in Vanuatu as part of the Australian Aid program. He is Co-founder & Chair of Global Ideas, taking a design approach to solving global health challenges.  

  • Lloyd holds appointments as Clinical Fellow at the University of Melbourne and Royal Melbourne Hospital. He is formerly a Director of the Royal Australian College of Physicians, and remains active in working groups on Climate and Health and the Social Determinants of Health.  As a Fellow of Leadership Victoria’s Williamson Community Leadership Program, Cranlana Program and recipient of the ADC Forum Australian Leadership Award, Lloyd has been recognised as a next-generation Australian leader.
