The 2026 Global Conference of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (IDSSD) will bring together leaders from government, academia, industry, civil society and Indigenous knowledge communities to assess progress since the Decade’s launch and shape priorities for its next phase.
Under the theme 'Science in action: Charting a sustainable and equitable future for all,' the conference will showcase science-driven solutions, strengthen partnerships and explore how transdisciplinary research, open science and stronger links between science, policy and society can accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals. Discussions will also address science diplomacy, priority scientific frontiers, national implementation and the role of international cooperation in building a more inclusive and sustainable future.
