Franco Giraudo
Franco Giraudo is a clinician, professor, and researcher at the University of Chile. He works at a tertiary hospital and a university endocrinology center. He has worked on Chile's national diabetes programs for young people (both clinical and educational).
Franco Giraudo is a subspecialist in pediatric and adolescent endocrinology, primarily dedicated to working with youngs with diabetes. He also holds a doctorate in Medical Sciences and a diploma in Health Sciences Education. All his training was at the University of Chile.
Franco Giraudo is the father of two young children and an amateur triathlete. He has lived with type 1 diabetes since 1995. Born in Chile to a northern Italian family on his father's side, he enjoys good food, history, and the Renaissance.
