The live recording and presentations are now available

The MX2 webinar on ‘Review of Developments in the Field of Science and Technology Related to the Convention’ took place on 29 June 2021.

Both the live recording and the presentations are now available on the ODA Meetings Place under the following link: https://meetings.unoda.org/section/bwc-mx-2020-mx2-webinar2/.

The webinar included presentations on two projects the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) is involved with: the Tianjin Biosecurity Guidelines for Codes of Conduct for Scientists (in collaboration with the Tianjin University and Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security) and Modalities of a Scientific Advisory Process  for the Biological Weapons Convention (in collaboration with the Federation of American Scientists).

A first series of five similar webinars took place between October and November 2020 and, upon requests from Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BWC) States Parties, the BWC office-holders together with the ISU have decided to organize a second series of webinars to facilitate informal discussions on topics to be considered by the Meetings of Experts and to maximize the opportunities for experts to participate.
