Complete the UN survey on understanding biorisk priorities and opportunities

Biotechnology & Biosecurity
The United Nations Biorisk Working Group is reaching out to organizations across the private sector, academia and civil society to complete a short survey aimed at better understanding biorisk-related priorities and opportunities for increased engagement among stakeholders.

Several United Nations organizations have an interest in biorisk, including biosecurity and biosafety. To improve coordination in this critical area, the UN has established an inter-agency Working Group on Biorisks. The Working Group identifies gaps in preparation and response to biorisks and will develop a strategy for greater engagement with external organizations to improve biorisk mitigation. The Working Group is co-chaired by the World Health Organization and the UN Office for Disarmament Affairs.

Now, the UN Biorisk Working Group is reaching out to organizations across the private sector, academia, and civil society to complete a short survey to better understand the biorisk priorities and opportunities for increased engagement among its partners and other stakeholders.

Please fill out the survey, which should take about 10 minutes, by Wednesday 25 August.
