UN Member States are being invited to nominate scientists to work on the Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR) 2023, following on from this year's GSDR, which was presented to the UN General Assembly in September and developed for the first time by an Independent Group of Scientists, calling for urgent and transformational change. These reports are important in helping policymakers to implement and review the UN Sustainable Development Goals more effectively.
Nominations must be made through your governments, so if you know experts who could contribute to the next report and would be willing and able to work on it over the next 2-3 years, then please contact your respective department/ministry who leads on UN work in your country. Their deadline for submission to the UN is 20 December 2019 so you need to approach them in the next week. Please do not submit nominations directly to the UN: they will not be considered.
Good luck!
