IAP Young Scientists 2013

The nomination process is now closed. Submissions by IAP Member Academies are currently under review by the World Economic Forum and successful candidates will be contacted in due course.

Each year, the World Economic Forum selects up to 40 extraordinary leaders in science under the age of 40. The Young Scientists will participate in the Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2013 to be held in Dalian, People’s Republic of China, from 11 to 13 September 2013, under the theme “Meeting the Innovation Imperative”.
Nominees are pioneers with a proven track record of advancing the frontiers of science, engineering or technology. Emphasis is placed on individuals with a demonstrated commitment to public service, a deep interest in the global perspective and a strong alignment with the Forum’s mission of improving the state of the world.

Results of the selection process of the Young Scientists Class of 2013 will be available in due course.
