IAP has published its Annual Report for 2016. The document provides detailed accounts of the activities carried out by its regional networks (AASSA, EASAC, IANAS and NASAC) as well as reports on key thematic areas such as health, science education, biosecurity and women in science during the 2016 calendar year.
There are also updates on three major ongoing IAP projects: 'Improving Scientific Input to Global Policymaking', 'Harnessing SEM to Address Africa’s Challenges', and 'Food and Nutrition Security and Agriculture'.
Although the origins of IAP date back to 1993, the new InterAcademy Partnership was officially established in March 2016. This integrated annual report, therefore, is the first to fully cover the work of the new umbrella organization.
