The Proceedings are the result of the training course on "Mediterranean Archaeology: a GID-EMAN Training Course" which took place in Rome, 8-10 October 2012, organized by the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, in collaboration with GID, Fondazione Roma, and EMAN.
Participants included teachers, scholars, and students in archaeology and restoration from most of the Mediterranean countries and provided the opportunity to strengthen cultural ties that go back centuries and millennia.
