The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) has taken a leadership role in a growing effort by the global scientific community to identify displaced and refugee scientists, to understand their challenges, and to provide support. A new special issue of the TWAS Newsletter looks at this scientific migration – the programme needs, policy solutions and the human stories.
