Science Council of Japan hosted conference on 'Colossal Multiple Disaster...', Tokyo, 9-10 Oct 2013

On 9 and 10 October 2013 the Science Council of Japan (SCJ) hosted its annual International Conference on Science and Technology for Sustainability.

The theme for 2013 was: Colossal Multiple Disaster (Earthquake, Tsunami, and Nuclear Plant Accident) - Repercussions, Countermeasures, and Future Policy Choices.

The conference was co-organized by IAC, IAP, ICSU, and UNU.
