Founder and coordinator of the Panic and Respiration Laboratory, the Resistant Depression Outpatient Clinic at the Institute of Psychiatry-UFRJ, the Laboratory of History of Psychiatry, Neurology and Mental Health, and of the Adult Autism Spectrum Disorder Outpatient Clinic. Editor-in-Chief of the Brazilian Journal of Psychiatry (Thomson Reuters Web of Science – 2024 impact factor = 2.6).

Professor Nardi has published more than 600 papers as author or coauthor in the MedLine/PubMed system, and published more than 15 books as author or editor.

Mentor of more than 100 post-graduating students (Master and Ph.D. theses) in Mental Health.
