Innocent is the Research and Programs Manager at the Africa Academy for Public Health a Tanzanian NGO, where he oversees research, programs and policy work on adolescent health, mental health and nutrition. He also serves as an ethics reviewer and leads the Adolescent and Youth Advisory Board.

Innocent holds a Master’s degree in Health Services and Outcomes Research from Northwestern University, USA. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, Tanzania. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Global Public Health.

Innocent lives in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He enjoys cooking and gardening, as well as spending time at the beach with friends. He also enjoys running occasionally.
