Dr Itumeleng Ntatamala is an Occupational Medicine Physician and Senior Lecturer at the University of Cape Town (UCT) since 2021. He is also Director of the Occupational Medicine Clinic at Groote Schuur Hospital where he provides specialist clinical services to workers with occupational diseases.

Dr Itumeleng Ntatamala holds an MBChB from the University of Cape Town, an MSc in Occupational Health from the University of Birmingham (Chevening Scholar), and an MMed in Occupational Medicine from UCT (with distinction). He is currently completing a PhD in Public Health.

Dr Ntatamala lives in Cape Town, South Africa with his wife and sons. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, and listening to the radio. He is passionate about mentoring young people and community development, and enjoys helping people thrive.
