Katharina Koelbl joined the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) Secretariat in Trieste in 2025 leading the global communications strategy and the Young Physician Leaders (YPL) alumni network.

She brings over 15 years of international marketing and communications experience from the private sector. In her most recent role, she directed regional strategy across 16 markets for a major global brand with focus on brand building, audience engagement and communication.

Katharina holds an MSc in Marketing and Communications and a BSc in International Business Administration from the University of Business Administration and Economics, Vienna. She is fluent in German, English, and French.
