Ljupčo Gjorgjinski
Ljupčo Gjorgjinski is a senior fellow for science and technology diplomacy at DiploFoundation, a leading non-profit organization that fosters inclusive and effective diplomacy. His mission is to bridge the gap between scientific innovation and policy-making, and to promote dialogue and cooperation on emerging challenges and opportunities in the fields of biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and cyber security. As a facilitator for the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention, he works with state parties, international organizations and civil society to strengthen the implementation and verification of the treaty, and to raise awareness and education on the prevention of biological warfare. Ljupčo Gjorgjinski served as a senior advisor for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a chair of several UN expert groups and meetings, and an acting head of mission at the Permanent Mission of North Macedonia in Geneva.
