Lukovi Seke

Mr. Lukovi Seke is a quantitative economist with a bachelor's degree in mathematical economics from the University of Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of Congo) and a master's degree in Economics, specialising in trade and investment awarded by the University of Pretoria in South Africa. He is the lead for the African Science, Technology and Innovation Indicators (ASTII) program, which falls under the Science, Technology and Innovation portfolio at the Office of the Chief Executive Officer of the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD). For over 15 years, he has worked to strengthen the capacity of African Union member states to measure research and innovation, in accordance with international guidelines (OECD guidelines) for the production of African Innovation Outlook (AIO) series. He is co-chair of the ten-year AU-EU Innovation Agenda Working Group, a member of the AU/G20 Education, Research and Innovation Working Groups (EdWG and RIWG), and a member of the advisory board of the WIPO Intangible Investment Initiative and the Politecnico di Milano's Master's in African Innovation Leadership (POLIMO). He has served as Chairperson of various civil society organizations within university, national, regional, continental, and international youth networks focusing on uman rights and development.
