Nadine is a physician-scientist at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and co-lead of the Global Digital Last Mile Health Research Lab. Her work focuses on community-based essential health services, in particular TB, HIV, immunisation, and preventive care in Madagascar and Germany.

Nadine holds a Doctor of Medicine (Specialty: Public Health) from Heidelberg University and an MSc in Applied Infectious Disease Epidemiology. She completed the Field Epidemiologist Training Programme in 2022. She initially trained as a medical laboratory technician.

Nadine lives in Berlin. She enjoys sharing time and meals with family and friends, hiking across rural Europe from lowlands to the Alps, travelling, and reading. She has a late-onset fascination with marine mammals, particularly whales.
