Orsolya Valkó is a scientific adviser and research group leader at the HUN-REN Centre for Ecological Research in Hungary. Her research interests are related to the biodiversity, conservation, and restoration of grassland ecosystems. She has been co-chair of two policy reports of the European Academies Science Advisory Council (EASAC) on 'Regenerative Agriculture' and 'Changing Wildfires'.
