Raudah Yunus

Raudah M. Yunus is a researcher, writer and social activist from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She recently completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin (USA) in community health research and bioethics. Dr Yunus serves as a senior lecturer and public health specialist at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA (Malaysia). She is also a senior Atlantic fellow at the Atlantic Institute (Oxford, UK) and a strategic consultant at Darul Qasim College in Glendale Heights (IL). Dr Yunus actively researches behavioral gerontology (elder abuse and neglect), aging and long-term care, Muslim and Islamic bioethics, refugee health, health disparities, and the intersection of bioscience and theology. In previous years, she had actively engaged in projects on modern-day slavery, human trafficking, and refugee health. Since 2025, Dr Yunus has shifted her focus to health in conflict settings by assisting medical students (whose studies are disrupted) resume their education remotely.
