Sara Miante was born in Turin, Italy where she graduated at the International Linguistic High School. She is currently a student at the Scuola Superiore per Mediatori Linguistici- CIELS in Padua (Italy). During the summer 2012, she is taking part in the IAP/IAMP Internship Programme at the IAP/IAMP Secretariat in 2012 under the overall supervision of the IAP/IAMP Coordinator Dr. Lucilla Spini. Her main duties are to assist in the elaboration of documents for the Meetings of the Executive Committees of the IAP and the IAMP,  translate form English to Spanish IAP/IAMP documents and assist in the finalization of the new IAMP Website to be launched in October 2012. Ms. Miante speaks English, Spanish, French and, of course, Italian, her mother tongue.
