Tiange Wang
Professor, Shanghai Institute of Endocrine and Metabolic Diseases
Dr. Wang is a Principal Investigator and Doctoral Supervisor at the National Clinical Research Center for Metabolic Diseases, Shanghai Institute of Endocrine and Metabolic Diseases, Rui Jin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, China. She leads a research project aiming to delineate the etiological characteristics of the “social environment-human behavior-physical function” pathway for diabetes and cardiometabolic complications and identify the causal effect of socioeconomic inequalities and gene-environment interactions on human longevity. She has been awarded the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars from the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Dr. Wang holds an MD in Endocrinology and Metabolism and a PhD in Clinical Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.
She lives in Shanghai. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors through driving, hiking, and camping to inspire creativity and observation.
