Dr Bapolisi is a Senior Researcher at Catholic University of Bukavu where she served as Scientific Research Coordinator since 2024. She teaches and mentors undergraduates and postgraduates in DRC. Her experience includes child and reproductive health, infectious diseases, and clinical trials.

Dr W.A. Bapolisi obtained a Bachelor's Degree in General Medicine, Surgery, and Delivery from the Catholic University of Bukavu in the DRC. She also earned a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Basel, with Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute.

Wyvine comes from Bukavu, eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Currently, she lives in Johannesburg with her family. She enjoys reading, meditation, outdoor activities. She does all she can to keep her inner child spirit.
