Antonia Morita Iswari Saktiawati

Morita Saktiawati has been working at UGM, Indonesia, since 2010. Her research focuses on pulmonary disease, immunology, and infectious disease, particularly tuberculosis. For her research works, she has received several notable awards, including the Long-Term Research Fellowship Award from the European Respiratory Society (2021), Rising Star Award at the 7th International Workshop on Lung Health, Prague (2020), and Faculty for the Future Award from Schlumberger (2014).
She holds a Medical Doctor from UGM, a Graduate Certificate in International Public Health from University of New South Wales, Australia, and a PhD in Tuberculosis from University of Groningen, The Netherlands.
She lives in Indonesia. In her free time she paints, cooks, enjoys music and nature, and spends time with family and friends.
She is a member of the Young Academy of Indonesia, Global Young Academy, and is active in UNITE4TB, IUATLD, and other international organizations.
