Sign the Science in Exile Declaration

Policy for Science
We call on all stakeholders of science, and those involved in humanitarian activities, to join us to build a better future for our colleagues

The Science in Exile Declaration 'Supporting at-risk, displaced and refugee scientists: A call to action' outlines key commitments necessary at global level for both immediate and long-term support and protection to scholars and scientists who are at-risk, displaced or refugees, so as to build a better future for them, science and society at large.

The Declaration was launched on 20 April 2022 at the online event "A Call for Action to support at-risk, displaced and refugee scientists. Launch of the Science in Exile Declaration".

Organizations interested in endorsing the Declaration  - universities, science academies, non-governmental organizations, governments, international organizations, diaspora groups and others - may do so by clicking here and complete the online form, and sending their logo to displacedscientists@twas.org. The organization’s name and logo will be published on this page, under the section “Endorsers”.
