Duha Shellah
CEO and Founder of the research community of Palestine "The Researchist"

Dr. Duha Shellah is a Junior Medical Doctor and Journalist graduated from medical school at An-Najah National University, Palestine. Duha is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Researchist which is a research community aims to make research a youth language and to support and advocate early career researchers. Duha is Director of Recruitment and Associate Editor at HPHR Journal (Formerly Harvard Public Health Review). She is an Elsevier Student Ambassador. Duha is an Editor & Palestine Ambassador at the International Journal of Medical Students. She is Intern Writer at In-Training Magazine in medical journalism - health policy section. She is an active member of Committee of Publications Ethics (COPE) and the Medical Journalists' Association (MJA). Also, Duha is the General Secretary of Toufik’s World Medical Association. She is a leader, trainer, activist and advocate for reproductive and mental health and rights for youth in Palestine, especially those living in marginalized communities. Duha is a founder member in the Palestinian women in Surgery society in Palestine. She is an ambassador for Palestine Academy for Science and Technology (PALAST).
