IAP Global Webinar on Countering Vaccine Hesitancy

The IAP Global Webinar on Countering Vaccine Hesitancy webinar will take place on Tuesday 23 March 2021, from 12:00 PM-3:00 PM UTC and will be designed to help academies prepare for national vaccination efforts (the agenda is available here).

This online event will highlight how academies – as trusted and credible voices – can counter vaccine hesitancy, tackle false and misleading claims being made by anti-vaxxers and others, and promote a culture of trust in the COVID-19 vaccines that are increasingly becoming available.

IAP encourages academy leaders and Fellows (even if they are not trained in virology or immunology or infectious diseases), along with their communications teams, to participate in this webinar to is designed to assist academies with their outreach to and interaction with the public on this critical issue.
